Grains and livestock mixed

CHICAGO — Grain futures were mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 8 cents at $4.96 a bushel; Jul corn was up 6 cents at $4.02 a bushel; July oats rose 4.4 cents at $2.4330 a bushel while Jul soybeans fell 5.2 cents at $10.0520 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle increased .74 cent at $1.0347 a pound; May feeder cattle fell .15 cent at $1.3402 a pound; June lean hogs rose .28 cent at .7495 a pound.
